Chicken Empanadas
Chicken empanadas are packed pastries with chicken meat, potatoes, carrots, and sweet peas.

- 2 lbs. Empanada dough
- 1 lbs. Empanada Filling
- Egg Wash

PREPARATION Instructions
- Roll out dough and cut out circles for each empanada.
- Place chicken filling on center of circles.
- Brush half of dough edge with egg wash Fold in half .
- Pinch and curl dough edge to seal.
- Fry in 350 F oil till brown and internal temp is 155 F.
CHICKEN EMPANADAS COOKING Instructions
- Wash, Rinse, and Sanitize prep station .
- Wash hands.
- Put on gloves (RTE Food).
- Collect all necessary pans, pots, utensils, and equipment.
- Roll out dough and cut out circles for each empanada
- Place chicken filling on center of circles .
- Brush half of dough edge with egg wash .
- Fold in half.
- Pinch and curl dough edge to seal.
- Fry in 350 F oil till brown and internal temp is 155 F.
- Check and log temperature .
- Hold in hot display.
