Easy and Healthy Way to Make Guacamole

Guacamole is a great addition to any diet and can be used in many different ways. There are so many benefits of Guacamole including the fact that it can be used to fight high cholesterol, has anti-cancer capabilities, boosts immunity, and helps with weight loss.


Guacamole is an easy, healthy way to make a great meal even better. Made with fresh avocados and the most flavorful ingredients, it’s the perfect snack, appetizer, or side dish. It pairs well with meats, poultry, and seafood like grilled salmon and spicy shrimp tacos. Plus, it works as a delicious spread on turkey sandwiches.


Guacamole is perhaps Mexico’s best-known contribution to Pan-Latin cuisine. Traditionally prepared by mashing avocados with lemon or lime juice, salt, and garlic, guacamole is a dip or spread that is served with tortilla chips as an appetizer. It is also used as a topping for numerous Mexican dishes, including tacos and burritos.

Depending on your preferences, you may make this avocado salad smooth or chunky.
Servings 2 qt

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Ripe Avocados 
  • 2 oz Pico de Gallo
  • 1/2 tbsp Salt 
  • ¼ cup Lime juice
  • ¼ cup Water

Instructions
 

PREPARATION Instruction

  • Open avocados by slicing around seed. .
  • Remove seed by twisting out seed with knife blade.
  • Scoop out inside of avocado into bowl of 1/6 pan.
  • Crush and Stir till smooth.
  • Mix with Pico de Gallo, salt, pepper, and lime juice 

GUACAMOLE COOKING Instructions

  • Wash, Rinse, and Sanitize prep station .
  • Wash hands 
  • Collect all necessary pans, pots, utensils, and equipment .
  • Put on gloves 
  • Wash Avocados .Slice in half around seed .
  • Twist halves and remove seed (remove seed with knife blade) .
  • Place mixing bowl with metal cooling rack on top .
  • Press avocado through grate leaving skin .
  • Mix with Pico de Gallo .
  • Add lime juice, salt and pepper to taste. 
  • Cover with lid .
  • Label with name and date .
  • Check and log temperature . 
  • Store in walk-in .
