Are you a fan of Spanish and Latin American food? If so, then you’ve probably eaten a lot of dishes flavored with Sazon, a delicious, fragrant seasoning that gives many types of meat and vegetables a unique taste.
If you find yourself making a lot of Latin American dishes or want to try something new, consider creating your own sazon seasoning at home. You’ll save money by buying the ingredients in bulk instead of purchasing small packets of seasoning at the grocery store. This is also an excellent way to tailor the recipe to more closely match your tastes. The powder usually contains coriander and annatto seeds, but it can also have cumin and other dried spices mixed in. Sazon is used to flavor soups, meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetable dishes. It gives food a rich, gold-brown color as well as an aromatic flavor.
